Work Experience

Apply for a placement and view previous projects

Each year the Fusilier Museum London offers work experience placements for secondary school students. These placements introduce students to the history of the Fusilier Regiment and to the job of working in a museum. Students are given the opportunity to handle original material from the museum collection, to carry out research in the stores and to produce meaningful projects which can be shared with the museum's visitors. Examples of our previous projects can be found below.

Dates for 2018 work experience placements will be added in the new year.

To apply send your CV along with a covering letter explaining your interest in a placement at the museum to Stephanie Killingbeck-Turner.

If you are a university or Museum Studies student looking to gain experience of working behind the scenes in a museum we can offer short term placements. Please contact us at the above email to discuss your needs.
