Tips for family history researchers

- We do not hold individual soldiers records or medal cards.
- If an individual was discharged before the end of 1963 or has a date of birth before or up to 1st of January 1939 then the file will have now been transferred to the National Archives (TNA) as part of the Defence Records Management Project (DRMP).
- If an individual was discharged after 1963, papers will still be held by the the Army Personnel Centre in Glasgow. They can be contacted at The Army Personnel Centre, Historic Disclosures, Mailpoint 400, 65 Brown Street, Glasgow, G2 8EX.
