    Description

    Diary (notebook) of Corporal James Brierly, who served with the Royal Fusiliers during the Peninsular War. His diary gives an account of the abortive attack on New Orleans in 1814-15 and on the alternating pages the later stages of the Peninsular War in 1813-14 which mention the Battles of Vittoria, Pamplona, Roncesvalles, Pyrenees, Larrun and Orthes.
