    Description

    S10 respirator formed of black rubber with two large clear-glass lenses. A rubber headstrap is secured at six points of contact by means of plastic clips. A circular filter cylinder is screwed into one side with corresponding air outlet on the opposite side. A large recess (containing voice transmitter) is in the centre of the mask. In this recess, to one side, is a lever for adjusting the internal mouth piece. This in turn feeds through via a rubber pipe to a drinking valve, held in place in an aperture at the base of the mask. This mask was used in Northern Ireland.
