Royal Fusiliers Go to War

The Fusilier Museum is hosting a special exhibition in partnership with the National Army Museum from the 4th – 31st August 2014. The exhibition will commemorate the important role the Royal Fusiliers played during the First World War.

The exhibition will draw on a host of artefacts, photos and stories from the NAM’s rich Collection relating to those who fought in the capital’s iconic regiment. The exhibition will explore the early experiences of the regiment in the Great War, from recruitment techniques used in the London area to the heroic efforts of the regiment’s soldiers in action once they arrived at the front.
